Terms and conditions
1. Service Fee: A non-refundable service fee of $60 inc GST is required to secure your booking. This fee covers our technician’s travel time and preparation for your assembly job.
2. Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the assembly job. We do not accept cash or credit card payments on site your payment details will be collected prior to booking and payment taken after the job is completed.
3. Cancellation: If you need to cancel your booking, please provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, you will be charged $60 inc gst. If you cancel after our technician has arrived at your location, you will be charged the full service fee of $60 inc GST.
4. Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
5. Warranty: We offer a 30-day warranty on all assembly work performed by our technicians. If you experience any issues with the assembly or workmanship within 30 days of the service, please contact us to arrange for a technician to come and inspect the work at no charge to you.
6. Liability: Auswide Assembly is not liable for any damage to furniture, walls, or floors that occurs during the assembly process. Please ensure that the area where the assembly will take place is clean and clear of any obstacles or hazards.
7. Safety: For safety reasons, we ask that you keep children and pets away from the assembly area while our technician is working.
8. Materials: Auswide Assembly is not responsible for providing any additional fixings or brackets required to tether assembled products to the wall, the appropriate must be provided by the customer before assembly.
9. Product Damage: Auswide Assembly or it’s technicians are not responsible for any damaged products found during the unpacking process, it is the customers responsibility to arrange the replacement of any damaged products and an additional service fee will be required for the return visit.
10. Acceptance: By booking an assembly service with Auswide Assembly, you agree to these terms and conditions.
